Microsoft Security Response Center produced a video for an overview of their Security Bulletins for March (MSRC director Mike Reavey and Senior Security Program Manager, Jerry Bryant). Today, Microsoft released 3 security bulletins affecting Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003/2008. MS09-006 - Rated Critical
Just a heads up that the good folks over on the Microsoft Security Response Center blog just posted their Advance Notification for next week’s bulletin release, scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2009 around 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. As part of this month’s security bulletin release process, it looks like they’ll issue three security bulletins – one rated ‘Critical’ and two rated ‘Important’ – to address vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows.
The folks over on the MSRC blog just posted a note saying that Microsoft Security Advisory (968272) has now been published.
We’ve been getting questions from some of our customers about a new sample of Win32/Conficker , dubbed by some as Conficker.B++.
Looks like the good folks over on the Microsoft Security Response Center blog now have streaming video of the security bulletin webcasts so if you missed this and want to check it out now you can.
The good folks over on the Microsoft Security Response Center blog posted February’s Q&A session and it looks like they managed to answer 37 total questions in the time allotted.
