Hi, Every time I update Vista Ultimate 64bit SP1 using the Windows update after a restart I get a blue screen. I have to go into safe mode (sometimes the updates are finished at this point when going to safe mode) and in safe mode reboot again and after that all is fine.

After I ran windows update my computer goes into stby every time it sits idle for a while. By that I mean that I move the mouse and the blue screen pops up with my user name, I click on it and windows opens up again. I do not have stby, sleep, or hibernation mode activated

Whenever I try to use windows update ,the updates download normally and then I am prompted to restart my computer..Then I get the blue screen on startup that says windows didn’t start to protect my computer from damage..then I have to use system restore to restart my computer and updates fail to install…
