Can’t turn on automatic updates under OneCare

I installed Microsoft Steady State and decided that it wasn’t needed for my standalone operation, so I uninstalled it. Unfortunately, it now disallows running automatic updates under OneCare. I suspect that I need to change something using the Group Policy Editor, but I’m not familiar with using that utility.

Note when reinstalling Windows Update Agent - save it to a drive where Vista is not loaded because the file cannot be launched directly from the system root directory. Click Start, click Run, type: “D:WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.e xe /wuforce” (without quotations) and then press Enter to install the Windows Update
