Can’t install Updates – error Code 8000FFF and Code 643

Hi, I turned off Windows Updates a few months ago because it got hung up on not being able to install an update. I just spoke to somebody about a different issue with the antivirus program and he said I should use the Windows Defender and Windows Firewall plus a free microsoft antivirus: Microsoft’s new
