Error Code 8007006E – windows 7

I have tried x times to run the windows update inorder to install the 2 security update for MS 2007 Office System KB972581 and KB972434 Each attemp fails. I am using Windows OS 7 Enterprise (6.1.7600) Office 2007 SP2 (12.0.6504.5000) What to do?
