Thanks a bunch for all your Help!!!!!!!! Event 5504 is logged when a Windows Server 2003-based DNS server receives a packet that contains a DNAME resource record [link] I didn’t apply the hotfix because of the following comments in the Article. Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products
