Reposting: Problem With Hidden Updates

Using Microsoft Windows XP Professional, SP3 I know this has been posed before, but I searched the forum and also used google, and couldn’t find a definite solution. I know that I have at least one or two “hidden updates,” (for example, I chose not to install IE8)
