Project Quant : Patch Management Cycle

Although we posted some of our initial thoughts, and have been getting some great feedback from everyone, Rich and I realized that we need a standard patch management cycle so that we can break apart the different parts of the project, so that they can be considered separately and in detail. Rich has researched several other patch management cycles, and posted a graphic that represents a tentative granular cycle that enables us to move forward.

Latest Windows Vista updates

On re-booting after Windows updates KB954459, KB957097, KB955069 my PC would
not re-start, had to do an automatic system restore. The error code received
was 0×80242016. I’ve noticed from the forums a number of other people have
had problems after these updates. Does anyone know if there is a fault in
one of these updates or is it just coincidence ? Also does anyone know
exactly what the above error code means ?
