Office sp1 installation problem - KB946691 Code 8007006E anybody?

I have Office 2007 Home Office Edition and my Windows Update system has been constantly trying to install the KB946691 upgrade to SP1. It always ends with an error message saying Code 8007006E KB946691. I’ve searched on all the search engines to no avail. Can anybody help me, please? BTW: I’ve not been able to install the Windows Vista Service Pack 1
