Outlook 2003 extremely slow when attaching files to email messages

Posted on Monday, 19 January 2009No Comment

Guys,

I am completely perplexed. Last week a handful of my PCs all came down with the same issue. Here’s what I know

1) Outlook 2003 complete comes to a complete halt when attaching files of any sort to a new email message.
- Files locally OR on a network drive
2) The CPU and memory utilization stay very low, they do not go about 20% on any machines.
3) Forefront is completely up to date and so are our windows XP patches.

I am stumped. Any thoughts? Chris Murphy — Questions and Answers — Reply
