Printer settings reset

Windows/Microsoft Updates is most likely the guilty culprit. Your best bet is to never run any updates pertaining to Printer Drivers on a Print Server (or even on a workstation) … these are usually found under “Hardware, Optional.”
We’ve run into this problem so many times and it is always the same … someone installed a printer driver update via Windows/Microsoft Update on the Print Server or an individual workstation.
Be sure to install the latest print drivers from the manufacturer’s site and not Microsoft.
