Remote access ideas for our teleworkers

If you have a Citrix farm you could enable the WEB interface and use SSL to connect via browser. Works exactly like GoToMyPC and GoToMeeting which are two business units owned by Citrix and run on their technology.
This also gives you greater control of the application interface for your ERP and Office software so that you need only patch and update the server install.
Another benefit is tracking what the salespeople do to and with your data. Sales people have a tendacy to wander to competitors and this gives you a leg up on keeping your data with you rather than on the laptop you may not get back when they leave.
I currently have a General Contractor client and we run all their services this way so that we control the software standards, patches and upgrades and most of all, the data. Lenicom — Networking — Reply
