I missed this in Aaron’s blog the first time.  Even cooler… get your hotfixes automagically! Windows Update Issue for XP

I have windows set to do automatic updates and as usual, I recieved an update sometime back. Ever since then when I would try to go to add or remove programs, half of my programs would not be there like they normally are. I did a system restore back about a month and all my programs showed up. Then
