Word edit recipient list mail merge link greyed out after MS patches

Posted on Thursday, 4 September 2008No Comment

Hi,
I have someone who has an Access database for his clients and a Word document to do the mail merge with the database. After every MS Patch cycle he complains that the “Edit Recipient List” link is greyed out and he has to hit the “Browse” link and re-establish the links to his databases (lists). The lists (databases) he is trying to link to are on shared network file server (Win2003 I am pretty sure). He is trying to avoid having to do this after every patch cycle. I have not found anything yet. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide. Frank8652 — Windows — Reply
