Have XP home SP3. When trying to get auto updates, nothing happens, machine just sits here, eventually I get failure msgs in the popup. I have entered an issue with MICROSOFT, but nothing is helping that they are suggesting. Re-registering, stop 3rd party software, etc. I THINK IT IS SOMETHING WITH SP3… My sound card is also been afftected… So, my advice
