I, too, am having an IE issue… I use Explorer 7 and have Automatic updates. Since Ms Automatic Updates sent 3 updates (Window malicious Software Removal Tool, Update Rollup for ActiveX, and Cumulative Security Update), I’m not sure what is causing the problem.

I finally found out why I kept being redirected when I tried to access Microsoft updates. I had noticed that my automatic updates hadn’t been happening. Greg, The damage was caused by restoring the server using one week old image before the Exchange Server 2007 got broke as the result of Windows Update(.NET Fx 3.5 failed the Autodiscovery). after i restore the image using the clean build Exchange Server 2007, both DC failed to replicate each other, therefore I roll back to the faulty image and live with the error for more than one year until now :-| lesson learnt: never restore DC using backup image software eventhough the server name is the same.
