Let Office determine which updates to install by using the Microsoft Update tool. Just get ‘em all that are recommended. If you are intent on outsmarting it and/or understanding it in depth, as many of us on this forum like to do, these service packs are cumulative.

Correct in some cases, incorrect in others, I am sure. Might want to just leave off assumptions.
