I receive notice that I have updates to install. When I click on the icon in the taskbar the next screen is the Windows Update.

The recently issued KB953297 for Net Framework 1.1 SP1 (MS09-061) won’t install. It’s downloaded and it ques up to install every few hours but won’t install and there is no error code to reference

I get a failure to install every time I try & install the windows update: “Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows Vista (KB972600)”. I’m running Vista Business 32 bit version
