It is generally _not_ recommended to install drivers for non-Microsoft devices from the Microsoft Update site.

Nvidia refusal to let its users do what they like with the cards they have bought has sparked a backlash amongst hackers. Microsoft did not make your nVidia nForce netowrk controller – you shouldn’t get your support for it from them – so visit nVidia’s web site and get the latest driver from them and ignore the future hardware updates for non-microsoft hardware offered by Microsoft. You’ll be happier for it.
