Since you’ve failed to post the edition of Windows and what Service Pack level the system is running on, suggest you contact MS for *no-charge* support in getting the *Security* updates for Outlook 2003 installed. Is KB968816 being offered by Windows Update? It most certainly does apply to your system. Even though you’ve upgraded to WMP 10, you cannot remove WMP 9.x which, by default, includes the vulnerable Runtime.
