That’s not a monitor issue. Press “CTRL+SHIFT+ESC” at the same time and under the “processes” tab – find and select ‘explorer’ and right-click it and “End Process”

Cannot restart computer after installing Windows updates.

I downloaded microsofts updates and next step was to restart which I checked ok. The computer shut down and then tried to start up but stopped with the error message a disk read error occurred. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to restart.
