As I’m now up and running experimenting with Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1, I’m wondering what the in’s and out’s are of scheduling shutdowns after windows updates. Can anyone tell me how the the running VM’s will behave if the host machine has a scheduled shutdown/restart invoked using Microsoft’s own shutdown.exe
