When you build a box I prefer to manually use Microsoft update for that very first ‘getting up to snuff’ process. So the first thing I do is ensure that the box has been flipped over to use Microsoft Update and not Windows update. Windows Update only patches windows, Microsoft update offers up patches for Microsoft products.
