Why don’t I receive the option to update to SP2 in Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit on my desktop computer, during Windows Update? I have a laptop computer that runs Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit and was offered and downloaded SP2 some time ago.

I have been unable to run Microsoft Update and have tried numerous suggestions in the newsgroups, without success. After more searching in the web I found someone who had an identical problem and lead-up circumstances.
