Whenever I go to windows update and install the latest”recommended” update (Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB960544) My computer will not restart and goes into startup repair mode…whenever I do a system restore from a point before this update was installed it works fine..anyone else ever experience

For the last week or so i have noticed that my explorer will not update the updates as the downloader for it is missing, i need help trying to find the possibilities of how this has happened….also, i keep getting “cannot display webpage” everytime i try to download IE8….or anything of the sort.

Hello, I am an information support coordinator for a company. We have had a couple PC’s that, after windows updates was ran, have had a Lync USB Auditor Service started.

This update downloaded with my automatic updates but continues to fail to install.

Windows Update seems to think that it was successfully applied. Add or Remove Windows says it is not there.
