While Windows Update may have located the installers for the updates on the external drive, there’s no way the updates were “installed” on that drive. Right-click on My Computer & select Properties.
Hello, performed a recent windows update for one of our Windows 2003 Server machines earlier in where it use to allow Remote Desktop connections before doing the update but after the updates were finished and the machine was rebooted it seem like remote connections can’t be made anymore. Allan, Do you know what order the SQL updates were applied in? The fix MS09-004 is part of SP3 so you should not really be offered both updates
