Why does Windows Update not recognize my Adminstrator logon?

Suddenly, when I open Windows Update, even right-clicking and selecting “Run as Administrator” it doesn’t register. While the update checks properly and updates are installing, I have a link on the Update dialog “Get Updates for More Products” that only takes me to a page stating “Administrator’s ONLY!”.
