Windows update ingores user input

Posted on Saturday, 7 November 2009No Comment

I am trying to install updated network drivers for a DELL Inspiron 6400 laptop running a clean install of Vista Home premium. The problem is that the driver update program seems to enter some kind of “race” condition when the network card is brought down while the windows update process is downloading updates.
